Heading Out of Camp to Hunt

Leaving camp I had to walk through a section of dead pines as I work my way up from 4,000 feet to about 6,000 feet.
Awesome find brother! That discolored strip in the field is interesting.
Lucky duck !!!!
Great find !!
Awesome find! A 2 cent piece is on my bucket list. I’m jealous lol.
Congratulations on the beautiful 2 cent piece!❤
Great find! I found an 1892 penny in 2018 without a metal detector in a wash out in a field that was said to have had a trading post there. It was close to the Oregon trail in KS. I thought how much food or candy that one penny could've gotten?
Awesomeness!!
Thanks!!!!
I know exactly where you are. And ill be going there to look for more.
Sweet! Have you tried the nose oil trick? Nice find bud, making me jelly over here! 😅
Yes, I tried that.....but keep the suggestions coming.
Yep, you found a ground sloth
Thanks for confirming! And thanks for watching.
Definitely an old large cent! Congratulations!!!❤
Thank you!
Dang it. So old it’s hiding its identity. Still cool though brother👍🇺🇸
Thanks man.
Good job
Thanks
Awesome find! Good luck with your next find!!

She def took a licking and she no more be ticking!
Sweet button! Keep at it bud, you never know when the next hole will contain silver!
Fingers crossed!
Cool button brother👍🇺🇸
Thanks 👍
Beautiful button!
I think so too!
keep good work!
Lawyer said you have to keep your comments at least 200 feet away from me.
Nice!
Thanks! How you doing?
Wow that button is really cool. Too bad the crotal bell was broken because it would have been huge! Happy hunting and I hope you find many more treasures!! Detecting is one of my passions!
I'll find a crotal belt eventually......it's on my list. Take care of yourself.
That is a huge crotal bell fragment! Congrats on the beautiful General Service button!❤
Thank you Cynthia.
: )
Thanks.
Keep them coming!
I will.
Well done! I see knife handles and buttons in that one.
LOL Me too.
Yes sir. Big or small I’ll take’em all👍🇺🇸
Me too.
Another nice one! Congrats! I hope your metal detecting produces some great finds.
Thanks, I certainly will keep swinging that detector.
That is a lovely shed!❤
I like it. I very rarely find them on the ground.....I mostly find them in water.
Man you're rack'n them up! Get it? 😂
I know this is 3 years old, and you've likely already figured this out, but that toe bone is actually a calcaneus to a bison. Similar to our elbow
Yes, but thanks.....you definitely live and learn. Thanks for the information.
Awesome shed brother!
Thanks!!!!!!
Good one. Shed antler is so fun to find
They are fun to find, I wish I found more. LOL
Awesome, mister. Good job!
I'm calling the police!!
Holy freakin cow. That’s going to look amazing cleaned and displayed . Congrats. That kind of a find is what i feel are rewards for always staying respectful and understanding the power and that magic we feel when stumbling across these priceless pieces of our world
Thanks. Well said.
Nice one brother. I only found three this year👍🇺🇸
Thanks man. I ended up with two.
Nice find! I never find sheds. I’ll bet you have a nice collection too! I’m waiting for the next video already.

Thanks James. I hope you had a great one.
Nice one!
Thanks Girl.
That is a beautiful shed!❤
Thanks Cynthia.
cool find ATB
Thanks Buddy. I'm swinging my detector and hoping to hit a silver or two before the end of the year.
Awesome find, that's a good one!
It was a pretty good one. Thanks.
Why I would love to! (Go back to Iowa) 😉 My apologies bud for not keeping up with your channel, I usually watch UA-cam on our tv, will have to logon so I can receive notifications, etc. I'm really happy ya'll are on the right coast now!
No worries.
Ten or so years ago the area around Harrington, DE was hit bad by blue tongue. My buddies family farm where we hunted had numerous dead bucks, all you had to do to find them was to look for the buzzards.
Might be what happened here.
Shall I assume the trashy areas are the same as I have seen in so many places... remnants of the addicts living in camps/homeless?
Having lived in Cali I can understand that but this seems to be old trash....mostly from the 40s to 60s.
That sounds better… lol
Good to see you getting out and about brother!
Thanks buddy.
folks now days dump trash without thought...pisses me off too
I hear ya. I confront everyone I catch.
That’s a nice one! You are correct about the trash items. I remember the advertisement with the Indian. There are so many people that just don’t care anymore that it’s saddening. Thanks for the video and I’m looking forward to the next one!!
We lived in a much easier and better time.
Yeah, littering and dumping has become more of a problem. When I was growing up there was a big trash day around once a month. Nowadays it’s far fewer and to make matters worse there is a charge for certain items. Inflation is high and the rent and groceries are higher. More people with less money means a lot of people are just gonna toss things on the side of the road or elsewhere, they aren’t gonna pay money for something they are going to throw away.👍🇺🇸
I agree.
I bet you Ms. Southwest Iowa, rivers..
I do, very much.
At least you’re finding some decent antlers on that strip of land River Bound, awesome! It’s always a pleasure watching you and your adventures so on to the next one!
Thanks, sorry it's taken so long to respond.
